I would guess not, actually. Not more than bringing it from, say, Montana, at least as long as the border guys could be convinced. If you bought it in Canada, paid taxes on it, etc. what are they really going to do? It predates the Clean Air Act by 20 years. It predates the 25-year cutoff by 40. Paperwork in hand saying you bought it for $1500 Canuck, what are they going to say?
Worst case, you fill out import paperwork of some kind for about $150.
